  • Are you a media whiz with a passion for storytelling? We're seeking a Volunteer Head of Media to help us spread the word about Mum Walk both locally and nationally. This pivotal role involves developing media strategies, cultivating relationships with journalists, pitching stories to traditional and new media outlets, and securing features on key parenting podcasts. If you have strong media relationships and a knack for getting the message out, we'd love to chat!

  • Are you skilled at finding funding opportunities and navigating grant processes? Mum Walk is looking for a Volunteer Grants Manager to help secure the financial support we need to keep our weekly walks free for local mums.

    In this pivotal role, you will:

    • Identify and research relevant grants from government, philanthropic, and corporate sources

    • Prepare and submit compelling grant applications

    • Ensure Mum Walk meets all reporting and governance requirements for funded projects

    • Track funding opportunities and maintain deadlines

    If you have experience in grant writing, a strong understanding of nonprofit governance, and a passion for helping local mums connect, we’d love to have you on our team. Your contribution will directly support the health, wellbeing, and friendships of thousands of mums in our community.

  • Are you a natural cheerleader with a knack for building connections? Mum Walk is looking for a Volunteer Community Manager to help local mums start and grow their own walks, creating thriving communities across the country.

    In this role, you will:

    • Coach and support mums who want to launch new Mum Walks

    • Provide resources, tips, and encouragement to help walks succeed

    • Celebrate milestones, share wins, and keep the energy high

    • Help mums feel confident, connected, and excited about leading their communities
